Heavily overgrown on a walk 23/06/14. Robert Stephenson's 7 Arch Viaduct on the Aln Valley Railway crosses the Cawledge Burn.

 Today Alnwick Station approaches seem to reflect litle of its former use.  These two photographs taken 13/1/15 show to the left the embankment behind the recent Lidl Supermarket below the overbridge on Bridge street.  The Photograph to the right a view from the bridge towards the station with Lidl in the foreground.

 Inside the Station now Barter Books many of the otiginal station features are preserved.  Drinking Fountain, In the station buffet the original Tiled NER Railway Map.
